Ha has a Ph.D. in political philosophy from the University of Ottawa, and an M.A. and B.A. from Boston College. He is the Editor of City Journal, the cultural and political quarterly published by the Manhattan Institute, where he writes extensively on social and political trends. Formerly, he was a research associate in social and political studies at the American Enterprise Institute, and the literary editor of Crisis. Author of Democratic Capitalism and its Discontents (ISI, 2007).
